Testing TLS version 1.3

Our CTO Bojan Ždrnja is back with a SANS ISC blog post about testing TLSv1.3.
As you could read some time ago, Bojan has already wrote about SSL/TLS configuration verification, but as the TLS (Transport Layer Security) version 1.3 is currently marked as “Proposed Standard” it still didn’t reach the highest maturity level; it was defined in RFC 8446 in August 2018 – if you would like to know more about internal workings of RFCs (Request for Comments) you can read it here. By the way, RFCs have long and interesting history going back all the way to 1969, but that is a story for another time.

Back to TLSv1.3. It turns out that the tools mentioned in Bojan’s posts don’t work with the latest TLS version. So, he sat down and wrote another post about tools that do work, and how to use them. More about all that on SANS ISC web.
